APOLOGIES FOR AUDIO SYNC AND QUALITY
Alex Salmond interviewed on Newsnight UK, preceded by some crap from Alan Cochrane and Iain Dale, plus a cornucopia of utter misunderstanding of Scottish politics by the EBC.
Note the lack of Ms Wark in tonight's program - surely not a reaction to this video:

Poor Kirsty!
SNP Leader and Candidate for Gordon, Alex Salmond, interviewed by Gordon Brewer on Newsnight Scotland, 16th April 2007. Click on Part 2 for second half.
Cathy Jamieson vs Alex Salmond. You decide.
Labour cabinet minister Cathy "Mince" Jamieson fails to explain her own party's council tax policy. Gordon Brewer bashes his metaphorical head against Cathy's all too real brick walls.
Apologies for audio sync issues, but the (non) message is loud and clear!
Brother Tommy of Solidarity interviewed by Gordon Brewer. Amongst other things, he decries the SSP as 'backstabbers' and denies being a Scottish Nationalist
Quagmire from Family Guy lookalike Iain Gray MSP is a man on a mission. A mission to get the hell out of the BBC's Edinburgh studio. Look at his eyes, darting away from camera every 20 seconds, desperately seeking an illuminated 'FIRE EXIT' sign to make quick his escape.
Sadly for Iain, and happily for Gordon Brewer and us, he's going nowhere.
Apologies for the audio sync issues.
Alex Salmond is declared winner of the Gordon constituency, gaining the seat from the FibDems.
His speech refers to the 'wind of change' sweeping through Scottish politics, and attacks the farce of electoral organisation on May 3rd.

All of the above adjective do not spring to mind when watching Pauline McNeill's speech after being elected MSP for Glasgow Kelvin.
You half expect her to start moaning about the price of fish while she's up there
Nicola Sturgeon of the SNP wins Glasgow Govan from Labour at a General Election for the first time ever.
Nicola had fought this seat for 10 years, each time reducing the Labour majority still further. At the fourth attempt, she beat Gordon "Two Jobs" Jackson to become MSP for Glasgow Govan.
As Govan is my patch, this gave me particular pleasure to watch!
Alex Salmond interviewed on BBC Election coverage, just as news comes through of the sensational SNP victory in Stirling, where Bruce Crawford came from 3rd to snatch the seat from Labour.
Alex is quite pleased at this news.
The formal declaration of seats for the Glasgow list sees the SNP gain four (up 2), FibDems 1, Tories 1 and the Greens' Patrick Harvie 1.
The SNP now hold a total of 5 seats in Glasgow, up 3 from the last election.
Come in Glasgow Labour, your time is up.
Wendy Alexander, the great leader of North British Labour's Holyrood group, shows why she's fast becoming the greatest asset Scottish Independence could've hoped for.
Still, at least she has a fantastic election agent, one Councillor Terry Kelly. A meeting of minds!
