Cole Stiegler, age 18, performs Arthur Pryor's classic trombone solo, accompanied by Sonja Savre (Cole's mom). He daringly goes for the upper octave for his last of many performances -- and almost makes it. Look for Cole playing this a bit more conservatively also on YouTube. 5/8/2008 Armstrong High School, Plymouth, MN

Keir, Cole and Mike get not get selected in the lottery for the Chequamegon Fat Tire race 2008. Sonja, Mike's wife and the boys' mom, has a preferred start since she wins her class year after year. In this video, we shamelessly beg to be let in the race.

As Cole tries to introduce the next act in the Armstrong High School Band Variety show (3/14/2008), his dad walks on unannounced and interrupts Cole's intro. Two horn chart with "Band-in-a-Box" accompaniment.
