Every police video has a lesson. The lesson in this one is very clear and explicit, don't try to run over a police officer with your two-tonne SUV otherwise this will happen.
You have to watch how this chase ends.
sheriff John Bunnell (Ret.) summarises the ending of this chase by saying that "This morning shift patrol-man found the cadillac headed straight for him, and stopped this chase with the business end of a shotgun"

In this video however the offender is killed while trying to run over some officers.
The offender's family took the case to court where the case was thrown out. I agree with that decision.
Why someone would try this hard to get away is beyond me.

These two women must really love shoes. After robbing a shoe store the boys in blue are on their bumper and when the lead cruiser pits them he makes it count. The thieves' car is pushed 300 feet into the curb. Those cop cruisers must have some serious grunt under the hood!
