In "Never Say Die", Bob Hope plays a hypochondriac millionaire convinced he only has thirty days to live. He agrees to marry a stranger, Martha Raye, to save her from her arranged engagement, and promises to bequeathe his fortune to her and her true love, Andy Devine. Of course, it doesn't quite work out that way...

The Smoking Popes play a new song, Welcome to Janesville, at their June 15 show in West Dundee. Gotta love the drum part. Meanwhile, I stand in the back of their crappy under-21 section. Josh said that they'd finished the new album, and that it would be coming out "... in the future.", for what that's worth.
I've never heard this one live before, but it's one of my favorites. Sorry for the video quality, the venue herds everybody under 21 onto a god-awful ramp full of people who do that awkward indie/hipster dance all over the place.
