Thought Id have a go at this one cos I've always loved the dub version King Tubby Meets The Rockers Uptown. 80's electro-dub pioneers Colourbox also did a great version. Original song by Jacob Miller (produced by Augustus Pablo) I'm afraid there's not much uke in it for ukulele fans.
Version of the theme from Exodus on ukulele & melodica. Originally covered The Skatlaites in 1963 and later Bad Manners.
(for those of you asking about notes and chords - some helpful person transcribed them here: http://curious-jp.li vejournal.com/98637. html )
Gus and Fin sing a lo-fi version of The Monkees classic
Gus plays bongos and a Singing Treholipee made by Swaggerty in California (c.1966)
Fin plays shaker and Tea-Chest Bass made by Fin in Scotland (c.1999)
Gugug one-man overdub band with a budget version of The Skatalites 1965 classic ska dance hit: Guns Of Navarone (theme from the 1961 film of the same name). This version featuring Gus on PLASTIC UKULELE, HUBCAP HIHAT and MELODICA.
