John Mayalls Bluesbreakers a breeding ground for a host of great musicians in their own right , this piece from Diary of a band album gives an insight to a few of those , and worth a listen a bit long perhaps and the video dosent contain much but i thought it an important piece to send up . trichoone
When i was putting this together i knew it must have been done a few times before but i wasn't bothered , this is my version and this in my opinion is the record that most describes the sixties in musical terms , taken from my original 1967 45 rpm single vinyl so sorry if the sound quality is not quite right .
Bob wrote this about his personal life and when i first heard it , it blew me away , so i have put a few clips to it in the hope of bringing it to life , i would think it has been covered many times but this is my version .
i think i would be correct in saying hergest ridge was not the most popular of Mikes music but don't forget it was following the massive Tubular Bells here i have put a piece of it to a few rail clips which seem to fit ok , what do you think .
This song is a masterpiece about the plight of the red indian people and it was an honour trying to put a video with it although i could never do it justice . Sorry about the odd scratch on the vinyl through 36 years use .
