Here's the final 2 minutes of the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest which took place in Coney Island, NYC followed by the ensuing confusion over who was the actual champion. Takeru Kobayashi or Joey Chestnut. Those final minutes were really filled with quite the bit of apprehension amongst the crowds as everyone couldn't fathom how the number of hotdogs eaten could be mistaken. Take a look.
Here's the second half of the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest WEIGH In which took place on July 3...One full day before the contest itself. In this second half you'll catch sight of Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi.
Just about 24 hours before the big Showdown is this staredown between Hot Dog Phenom Takeru Kobayashi and newcoming champ Joey Chestnut as they stare off and munch on a hotdog as well.
Here is this young lady and accompaniment singing the timeless classic "Imagine" at Grand Central Terminal's Inside Out Festival. We've no idea of the identity of the performers. If anyone knows then let me know. Their performance was quite stunning! Enjoy.

On our past Summer Trip to the Adirondacks and beyond we had the chance to cross Lake Champlain by Ferry. We liked it so much that we did it a few more times just for the heck of it!

Here we are driving down along the ascent from the peak at Bear Mountain down to sea level. It was a really great autumn weekends for everyone to enjoy.
Join us in our trip up Whiteface Mountain which measures well over 4800 feet above sea level. It's truly a magnificent natural wonder with fantastic panoramic views all around. Once you're up at the summit you'll never want to leave. So if you're ever up in that part of New York State then this is a definite must!
Here we are aboard the Staten Island Ferry which'll take you from that borough to Manhattan and back. It's always a treat to climb aboard especially when you consider that it's FREE!!!!
Here in the harbor you can catch sight of so many different sorts of boats and other watercraft. From Ferries and Sailboats to Tugboats and Freighters. There's plenty to see in the waters surrounding Manhattan Island.
