This is a short clip of my favorite section from Joseph Schwantner's "Concerto for Percussion".
This is the Almglocken phrase in the second movement. I've also included a later phrase on the metallic instruments where I played around with some vibrato on the vibes.

Exit 9 playing their adaptation of some traditional West African drumming, including rhythms from both Kpanlogo, Akpese/Bobobo. Instead of the customary peg drums, we use congas (a descendant of the traditional drums) and jembes.
