Extreme contemplates performing the recently written "Cupid's Dead" for the first time while touring Europe in 1991. They work out the kinks at soundcheck and backstage (while a few fans peek in from the street) before the show. Then the tour ends and they go home. Filmed/edited by the Control Group.
This is a great version of Nuno's solo guitar showcase from Extreme's 1991 tour. Gary and Paul can be seen in the dressing rooms during this number, Paul listening to the solo over a walkie talkie. 16mm color with B&W S-8 filmed by the Control Group.
Extreme's off-the-cuff comic flair is on display in this overview of life on the road before the gig. Filmed and edited by Control Group in Europe, 1991.
We shot this during soundcheck on tour in 1991, Extreme rehearsing a new song: "Tragic Comic." Studio track can be found on III Sides to Every Story and their best of release Accidental Collision of Atoms. Filmed by the Control Group.
This Roger Miller/No Man music video was shot in Boston in 1991. The song, "Wounded World", of late re-recorded by Mission of Burma for their CD ONoffON, was originally released on Roger's album "How the West Was Won." The video was produced by the Control Group (that's us) and shot on S-8 B&W film.
We filmed this at soundcheck during 1991 Extreme tour. Nuno runs through the number nicely. Presumably, Gary Cherone, Pat Badger, and Paul Geary are around somewhere but not seen in this clip. Filmed by the Control Group.
A brief glimpse of those quiet moments on the road... falling through the cracks with Extreme in Europe circa 1991. Filmed and edited by the Control Group.
