New York house from Tommy Musto and DJ Frankie Bones. It samples 'Take Me Back' by Rhythmatic and 'The Killer' by Dirty Mind. Frankie played these two tracks when he supported The Stone Roses at Spike Island in 1990.
The vocal sample sounds like it's First Choice's 'Armed And Dangerous'.
As far as I know this track was only released as a promo by Network Records in 1992.
A crossover house/rave tune, it was played at the end of the night in trendy house clubs like the Hac and at the beginning of the night in all-out rave clubs like The Zone in Blackpool.
Sheffield techno : bass 'n bleeps. Released on Network records in 1990. Big tune in Konspiracy (Manchester). In honour of all the techno tunes of the time, the video is full of pictures of circuit boards...
Mancunian house from Danny Hibrid & Mike E-Bloc (so called cos his name was Michael and he worked at Eastern Bloc record shop).
Vocals by Deborah French
Epic trance track produced by Kris Needs.
Released in 1993 on Sabres Of Paradise records.
The last two mins are faded out due to You Tube's draconian time restrictions
Here is the review from Discogs:
One of the classic Rave/Club tracks of early 1992 - a great mix of rave stabs, synth, piano & Jill Jackson's amazing vocals all rolled into one.
Follow up to Free Spirit. Released on Rumour Records in 1991.
Produced by Jimmy Brown.
Bass - Rick Kenton
Drums, Synthesizer - Jimmy Brown
Harmonica - Billy Brown
Rap [Spacial Rap] - Miss Bliss
Vocals - Lydia Steinman
Balearic classic. Produced by Pete Heller, Terry Farley & Andrew Weatherall. On Boys Own records.
Piano sample is from 'Jesus On The Payroll' by Thrashing Doves. Vocals are inspired by Aleister Crowley, apparently.
Canadian house classic with a much-sampled piano riff.
Video features an obscure Manchester nightclub that receives very little media attention these days.
