During the 10th Annual Northern California All American Truck Show (Union City, CA), a brief show and all with a 1967 Dodge police car and 1977 American LaFrance fire truck.
A walk-around look at the 1981 American LaFrance Water Chief fire truck. (This is a first pass at these "tours," the plan is to add more with open cabinets and such.)
Even short notice jobs are easy work when you've got us on board: the service vendor got the call Monday night, called us Tuesday morning, and before daybreak Wednesday, the job was underway. (And the 225 feet from hydrant to building wasn't a problem with hundreds of fire hose at the ready on the truck.)
The before-during-after video of the front lightbar update to the Whelen 9000 Edge strobe bar. We removed 4 of the 8 strobe heads and 2 stead-burn lights in lieu for 4 Whelen SuperLED 600 flash heads and a Whelen 700 takedown light. The first daylight photos are before, the bright white strobes are during, and the late night view is the after.
New Hope Church in Manteca began hosting open-to-all community picnics last month at Southside Park. For February, as with each month, they look to share something different with their guests. On this particularly spring-like Saturday, the main attraction was three of our fire trucks.
Contra Costa County-area children's choir "Brand New Sound" joined the Easter Parade, but sought a ride for the route... and a fire truck to sit along seemed the ideal answer. We answered the call and rolled out the red carpeted blanks for some of the members to sit on during their parade time.
An idle Saturday night, a 25 amp power supply and added mirrors to replace two rotators with reflectors / mirrors. (The target vehicle is a 1974 fire water truck, thus, not really up on handling a 40 amp or more sustained load.)
Some views of the trucks we sent to the 10th Annual Northern California All American Truck Show in Union City, California on Saturday, May 3, 2008. (Other videos show other vehicles and such.)
A cable TV commercial called for an emergency response as part of the script. That's where we came in -- a few other videos related to this shoot, but these are predominately from our small role in the production.
Tower 43 joined the 2008 AVN convention in Las Vegas this week as a booth prop for FyreTV.com. A few mods were made to run the lights off of wall power, and away they went.
While on Treasure Island (San Francisco Bay) for a SPAAMFAA meeting, the firefighters in the Island's Station 48 were conducting drills and emergency reviews... so we watched to see the water coming out of the 100' ladders' ladder pipes.
