Our little pickup band for the Pacific Palisades Community Fun Day. This 2 song set features the AcTeens Hula Dancers doing a Christian hula to "I Love You Lord" and "Shout to the Lord". A great time was had by all.

We humbly offer this as a loving tribute to the great contemporary Hawaiian group, Kalapana.
This is the first number that I believe is called "Shima no Guro". The second is a samba called "Mitsuken Samba" - obviously not a traditional Bon Dance. This was a fun family outing and we took my daughters friend who got all dressed up in a kimono!
I recorded this cover of God of Wonders on my home digital recording workstation. I did the vocals (sorry, I'm not much of a singer), the guitars, bass, drum sequencing, and the ending keyboard motif. My wife played the organ keyboard part. So i put together a picture collage to go with the music. Kinda backwards, yeah? ;)

Japanese fan bon odori - I think it has something to do with butterflies (cho cho). It also includes scenes of other stuff happening at a typical Hawaii Bon Dance: Food! and goods for sale.
