A compilation of still images and video clips by french photographer Jean Paul Goude. Probably most famous for his 1980's work with Grace Jones as well as the 1989 French Revolution Bicentennial Parade and high profile advertising campaigns for amongst others Chanel, Lee Cooper Jeans and Kodak. Taken from the free DVD included with the Book "So Far, So Goude"...
In a startingly surreal sequence from Ed Wood's 1953 film "Glen or Glenda?" Glen (Played by Wood himself) battles his other transvestite self as Bela Lugosi overlooks. To cap it all off is the most famous scene in the movie when Dolores Fuller hands Ed her Angora Sweater...Wonderful! Art through sheer incompetence! Parts of it remind me of the work of David Lynch or even Bunuel!!!
Rare stuff indeed!!! A deleted scene from John Water's classic "Female Trouble". It's Christmas Eve and Dawn Davenport has been expelled from the Baltimore School System! LOL! Enjoy!xxx
William Castle's introduction to his cult 1959 film "The Tingler". Castle explains/prepares the cinema audience for his gimmick "Percepto". Random seats were equipped with buzzers which would vibrate the viewers seat simulating attack from "The Tingler!!!" LOL! Enjoy!!!
Lynn Matthews, a well known face on the gay scene and a friend of ours performed two songs to celebrate Liverpool club Superstar Boudoirs 4th Birthday. The songs are "Maybe This Time" and "Cabaret" both from the film of the same name. Enjoy!!!
Drag Tribute to the Spice Girls. Featuring (amongst others) Superstar Bourdoir regulars Lady Carmen, Lady Sian, Mo and Paul (Ginger Spice). Performed to celebrate the clubs 4th Birthday. Enjoy!
Cult star Edith Massey auditioned for the film "Lust In The Dust" in 1984. She didn't get the role. Here are excerpts from her audition tape. This together with the film "Mutants In Paradise" is the last footage of Edith before her death in 1984.
