After about a year of tough hacking, Mother 3 fan translation is finally very close to release. A few weeks of testing is all that's really left now.
This video is nothing too special, I made it to show off all the various game systems (dialogue, main menus, battle, battle menus, misc. scenes, etc.) working together perfectly.

Note: Yes, Lucas can and does use bats in MOTHER 3. Also, the green thing is not the Rope Snake, it is the Shield Snatcher.
I made this video real quick to show how things are looking at the moment. It's still got a long ways to go, but things are coming along nicely.
Incidentally, the only reason there's an overlay music is because VBA's recording got the game's audio so out of synch that the video would've been 10x crappier otherwise :(
Main menu programming stuff's pretty much 99.9% done. Mostly cosmetic stuff and bugfixes remain, but that aside, here's how things look. Finally, the evil menu has been conquered!
