We made a return visit to the 15" gauge Bure Valley Railway in June 2008 and walked the Bure Valley Footpath that parallels the track from Aylsham to Wroxham. During our walk, and on our return by train, we observed 'Spitfire'in action at various points along the line.

In July 1989 I visited the 20in gauge Shipley Glen Tramway near Bradford in West Yorkshire. This is the Oldest working Cable Tramway in Great Britain. Opened in 1895 it is still open and is now manned by volunteers after being saved from closure by members of the Bradford Trolleybus Association. (http://www.glentram way.co.uk/)
A visit to this friendly 15" gauge line in Derby. The locomotive was 'Baby Deltic' D5905 "City of Derby" and the coaches were formerly used at the Fairbourne Railway in Wales
We visited this 10.25" gauge line in Norfolk on a wet morning in September 1990. The films shows a party of students departing from Walsingham behind "Norfolk Hero" ... every seat has at least one occupant and, as passengers are using both of the Guard's compartments, the Guard is riding on the footplate!
