Iris, the Bengal cat, on the dash of a cessna 172 coming in for a landing at the Sequim, WA airport.Flew from Friday Harbor airport on San Juan Island.
I had a few comments on the plane being too loud for a cat. So I made some earmuffs for her. We are flying over the strait of Juan de Fuca. The Olympic mountains are ahead of us.
This is Iris right after landing. She had flown this route about 6 times round trip from the San Juan Islands. It is only a half hour trip and yes it is a little loud. Normally I have her in my jacket and someone else is flying. I posted these videos so a dozen or so friends and family could see them. Didn't expect 25,000!
I am in the process of sewing my vessel's sails. Too large a project to be done in doors. This is only two panels of my smallest sail. Iris wants attention while I am sewing.
In order to go to this years Over the water hurdy gurdy festival I needed to bring along the individual that I look after. This video is to show folks what he and I have been up to this last week.
I did not get any footage of Iris at the festival. She got in trouble with the park rangers and I was told to keep her locked up. I wish I had footage of the rangers chasing her around the park. they were unable to catch her. I made this video after we got back.
