Shane Van Boening was the recipient of ball-in-hand at the beginning of this rack of 8B in the 2008 ISPA Open Tournament. The rack had many challenges, but SVB was able to chisel it up with little drama.
This is a rare glimpse of the Legend's stroke. A second view is available here:

This footage of Luther Lassiter is from the Legends Tournaments held in the early 80's. The event featured "Wimpy", Willie Mosconi, "Cowboy" Jimmy Moore, Minnesota Fats, and many more.
Jack Colavito faced Ray Martin in the 1989 US Open 14.1 Championships in Chicago, Illinois. This is a series of clips from that match for the benefit of AZBilliards.

I am embarrassed of my ragged play, but I walked up and shot this pattern "cold". My stroke was punchy & I didn't have the CB under control...but I DID get out. LOL
Here is footage from the 1995 Roanoke One Pocket Championships of Jose Parica, where he dominated the field.
Jose's known as a phenominal shot-maker, so his stroke his worthy of emulation. Notice his pre-shot rhythm and loose grip. His pre-shot routine is consistent from shot to shot.
