The Fixed Infantry Regiment of Puerto Rico invites you to our next historical reenactment event. April 26 and 27 of April 2008 in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The 1st Hispanic Heritage Day at Sully Historic Site was celebrated with a historic re-enactment program. The theme was "Hispanic participation in the American Revolution". Members of the Spanish Louisiana Regiment, Fluvanna Militia, Pennsylvania Loyalists, Southern Indian Dept, and 1st Virginia participated in a "skirmish" representative of the Louisiana & West Florida campaign of 1779-1781.
Musket firing drills by members of the Spanish Louisiana Reg and the Puerto Rico Fixed Regiment. It takes many volleys to get a group of guys working in a synchronized manner.
