This was filmed in Amsterdam February of 1977.
"Colour My World" was written by Chicago trombone player, Jimmy Pankow. This is the original band and includes the vocals of Terry Kath. The flute solo is performed by Walt Parazaider. Robert Lamm is playing piano. Very nice.
Enjoy!
This was filmed at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago, IL in November of 1972. Chicago performed an entire week of sold out performances at the ACT.
"Saturday in the Park" was written by Robert Lamm and can be heard on their 1972 'Chicago V' album.
Enjoy!
This was recorded at the Caribou Ranch in Nederland, CO, USA in July 1974. It aired on US TV August 16, 1974. "Just You 'n' Me" was written by trombonist James "Jimmy" Pankow for his then-wife. It was a huge hit and can be found on 1973's 'Chicago VI'.
Enjoy!
This was recorded in late 1986. Peter Cetera and Amy Grant's duet on "Next Time I Fall" hit number one in December of 1986. This song was written by Bobby Caldwell and Paul Gordon.
Enjoy!
The music starts about 3 minutes in. I thought the whole thing was worth seeing. "Live" shows have changed so much. It's hard to imagine musicians coming on stage and tuning their own instruments.
"Beginnings" is from Chicago's first album and it was written and sung by Robert Lamm.
Enjoy!
This is one of Chicago's biggest hits. This is a beautiful performance of this song. It's also one of my favorite songs that they have done post-Kath.
Enjoy!
This was filmed on the band's Winter 1977 world tour. This is part of a longer Dutch concert. This song is probably my favorite James Pankow tune. It features Peter Cetera on vocals and the legend, Terry Kath on guitar. Enjoy!
A late 70's Chicago classic. Written, sung & performed by the master... Terry Kath. The world lost him 11 months after this performance. We can only imagine how much amazing music was left in this man. If this is any indication in the direction he was going, we were gonna be in for a treat. Enjoy!... and never forget Terry Kath.
This was filmed live in Tokyo June, 1972. "Introduction" was written by Terry Kath.
The video quality is a little poor due to the age of this video. But, it's a rare glimpse at the original Chicago performing this classic.
Enjoy!
Robert Lamm & Peter Cetera of 'Chicago' appeared on this NYC morning program, hosted by Regis, on August 9, 1984. Sorry about the quality of this recording.
Enjoy!
