Espen, Kurt, Alejandro, Askil singing a medley of songs at the Norwegian music prize show Spellemann. Espen's "Unloved", Don Hedley's "Boys of Summer", Kurt's "Never Easy" and Ray Charles' "I Got A Woman"
Big band night and Kurt chose to sing the Frank Sinatra classic, "Fly Me To The Moon". This video also includes pre show clips and the judges comment and interview with Kurt after, it's in Norwegian, but praise from the judges and he is talking to the hosts about the fact that the band he played in before Idol, Fenrik Lane, had reached 17 in the Norwegian top 20 with their EP "Come Down Here"
Norwegian Idol 2003, top 20 week. They'd just had a "make over" and the hairdresser had decided that Kurt should go "red" - oops! His choice of clothing wasn't wise, either, in my opinion! Can't fault the voice though!
I realised that all the videos I have uploaded here are of Kurt singing cover songs(with the exception of a small bit of "Never Easy"). Well here's 2 of his own, live, Tsunami Appeal, Jan. 2005. "Singing the Song" and "Here She Comes"
An interview and song Kurt did on German TV around end of November 2004. The languages are a mixture of German, Swedish, Norwegian and English. The acoustic song is "Before You Leave"
