Learn to cheat at poker! Watch me break it all down for you, from cheating on the shuffle, cheating on the deal, and playing with a partner!
This routine is by John Bannon, based on the Dai Vernon Poker Deal. I also added a touch of my own.
Also, notice the cain. It's not just there for a gag. Ah, I'll explain later...
My first instructional video! I made this in response to a question by metallicafan83, posted to my Somebody Get Me A Doctor video. Hope it helps!
As for my gear, same as said Van Halen song video. 5150 replica, Roland MicroCube, MOTU 828mkII, KRK Systems Rokit 5 monitors.
One of Joe's best ballads, from the record Super Colossal. Again I made the backing track myself with Power Tab Editor and Cakewalk SONAR. I'm playing through my Peavey TransTube, which is off to my right, and my backing track is playing through my MOTU 828mkII into a Fender Princeton 112.

My favorite packet trick. I honestly don't know who created it, but if anyone does, let me know and I'll give credit.
Note the different, darker, quieter setting. This was actually shot in my kitchen, well after midnight, during the winter of 2006/2007. Some more videos from this same filming session might show up, depending on whether or not I decide to reshoot them.
Acoustic version of the Kiss song.
I even recorded a backing track to play over.

My gear: an Ovation Celebrity CS-257, a MOTU828mkII on FireWire, and KRK Systems Rokit 5 powered speakers. The backing track was made in Power Tab Editor and Cakewalk SONAR. And I used a Samson microphone to record the backing vocals.
As the title suggests, this is indeed a variation on Dai Vernon's classic card effect. Actually, it's a variation on a variation. Oz Pearlman's version is slightly different, so this is my own take on both effects.
Also, I don't know if Oz Pearlman created Emerge Triumphant or not, but if anyone does, let me know, and I'll give credit.
This is a variation on the classic Three Card Monte. This video should teach you two things:
1. You can't win at Street Monte games.
2. Never, EVER try to cheat DeNicola out of his money!
Also, I have to tip my hat to Penguin Magic. The cards I'm using are ones I made myself, based on their design.
A great two card effect, courtesy of Penguin Magic and Marc Desouza.
Ever heard the phrase "Jokers are wild"? Well, this is why they say that. An ordinary Joker finds two selected cards.
Also, this features my new Ellusionist Shadow Master cards, which I am 99% sure will surpass even the Black Tiger deck as my favorite cards!
This one is by Aldo Colombini I believe. It's a classic trick with four red cards...as the title may imply. But as you'll see, this one didn't go so well...watch the magician screw up the trick!
And by the way...I wasn't kidding with the cain, and that little...um...outbur st at the end, well, doing that hurt pretty damn bad...
At long last, the Great and Powerful Christopher Vincent DeNicola the First hath arrived.
Musician, magician, guitar-builder, and more!
In this case, check out my performance of The Great Evil Card Trick of Death and Chaos...
...Actually, that's my variation on two tricks called Out of Body Experience, and Waving the Aces, but either way, it's a cool trick.
More to come!
