They're who inspired me to play the fiddle.
I love all their tunes, most of them based on the Turlough O´Carolan works.
I hope you enjoy their music too.
This is my first melody whose score doesn't fit in a only page. Of course I played it slower than it is. Anyway at the end I lost the bow control, but well it's not bad.
I'm not sure if this is a movement... well perhaps it's a little first movement.
Well, this is all I can do with these tunes.
After a hundred attempts, here it is, I've played it slower, with lost notes now and then. with some notes out of tuning, but after two weeks working on it that's what I've got.
Thanks to zaivanbuijs, David Wilson, and JimViolin , who help me to find out the title of these tunes.
This waltz is for you Terry.
You can watch the original source in my playlists, the little boy plays it much better than me but I did my best and it's the thought that counts. Moreover these are my first double steps!!
I have a lot of sheet-music gathered here and there but I'm so bad reading them that I don't know how they sound till I try them on my violin.
Yesterday I try this one and I discovered a little jewel, I'd heard it, here in YouTube already, and of course long time will pass till I can play the rigaudon,
I love bagpipes music.
Some time ago I recorded this excerpt in a tape from the radio, I don't know title, neither composer but I love it. This is my first trying to emulate the bagpipes wich plays the song.
Sorry by the out of tones, scratches and unwanted double stops, I will keep on trying it, but I don't have hopes I get it.
I'm afraid the sound quality is very poor, because original sound video was not very loud and my speakers whistled a lot when I turn them up. Anyway here it is an improvised duet with Terry.
Some important mistakes:
I skip a note, I play another one on the wood instead of on the E string, and finally I'm out of tone in some more notes and I sped up in some another ones...
But I've enjoyed my playing a lot because is great play with more people.
Thanks a lot Pandiaz, you're great!.
Another one from my childhood, when my mother sang while hanging out the clothes.
Quiero dedicar este video a mi amigo Aumop, porque echo de menos sus videos.
