From the Sonata in B minor (BWV 1002); Sarabande, by Johann Sebastian Bach. Played by Jolina Groenendijk.
I used the Frederique Noad book for this (The Baroque Guitar), but changed a lot, especially the fingering.
I might post this again after a few months, when it's perfect!
Prélude no. 3 by Heiter Villa-Lobos.
I decided to post this one again with my new guitar. I've been playing it a bit longer and I didn't like the old vid anymore. I might remove it. This one's better. I think.
Thanks for watching! I heart you all!
Rondo in D (opus 48, no. 6), by Fernando Sor. Played by Jolina Groenendijk.
So ... Uhm ... What shall I say ... This one was difficult! (At least for me it was!)
Fernando Sor; allegro moderato (op. 60 no. 10), played by ... me! (It might also be opus 60 no. 22 though ... Not sure ... )
I know I look grumpy, but that's just me concentrating, I guess.
This is me playing Giuliani's Variations on a theme by Händel. First time I played it from memory for an audience; which is probably why I suffered from multiple blackouts.
Goofy, by Harry Sacksioni, played by me.
Now I know this is probably not my best performance, but I think this piece is just so much fun, so I really wanted to show you guys.
For Marie and Per of course.
I love, love, LOVE this piece, but it was a little bit harder than it sounds ...
And yes, I'm sight reading. And no, I can't smile.
Thanks so much for listening!!
Etude no. 8, by Heitor Villa-Lobos, played by Jolina Groenendijk.
I used a new preamp for this. Tell me what you think. I'm not sure about it yet.
Thanks for listening!
Prelude XII, by Per-Olov Kindgren, played by me.
This is a lovely piece; simple, but effective. It sounds a bit like Bach, only better.
The sheet music is to be downloaded on www.editionglobal.co m
This is a video from February 2005; we did a demo in a shopping centre, to get people to take dance classes.
There's a cha cha, a samba and a jive.
I'm the one with the skirt. My partner was Raymond.
The others are Chistine and Corne, and Elisa and Wouter.
I had to quit dancing last year, because I wanted to study guitar more. But I really miss it!
