With the Winston Salem-Journal reporting that Elizabeth Dole only spent 13 days in North Carolina in 2006 and 20 days in 2005, the DSCC traveled to Doles hometown of Salisbury, NC to see what the towns residents had to say. I have never seen her in person in my life, and she doesnt live here seemed to capture the sentiment of most of people we found.

The DSCC began airing a new television ad in Minnesota featuring Nancy and Claremont Anderson talking about the loss of their son Major Stuart Anderson, who was killed in Iraq. Nancy Anderson states in the ad, If Norm Coleman would have stood up to the President and said this is not a good idea, maybe he would have listened.
Norm Coleman's landlord and D.C. insider Jeff Larson doesn't seem to mind if Norm misses a few months of rent or opts to pay rent in furniture instead of cash. The DSCC answered Norm Colemans over-the-top attacks on Al Franken today by airing a new ad in Minnesota on the serious issues Coleman has tried to avoid in the campaign: his support for billions of spending in Iraq, tax breaks for big oil, and giveaways to the pharmaceutical industry instead of lower prescription drugs for seniors.
