Northwestern University Chorale and Wind Ensemble performance of Celebrations. Celebrations, composed by Vincent Persichetti, draws on the texts of Walt Whitman. Composed in nine movements that vary widely in style and mood, Persichetti's simple, judicious scoring passes rhythmic energy and musical line back and forth between chorus and winds, allowing space for every syllable of text to be heard.

On May 21, 2006, the Northwestern School of Music brought Mozart's Cosi fan tutte to the stage. With a libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, the opera tells the story of two officers who decide to test each other's claim that his fiance will be eternally faithful.
