Ancient TBS stuff 001 (1982)

Some animation, complete with one-inch dropouts and VTR instability, that I worked on for WTBS back in the early 80s.
The music is from 'The Electric Horseman,' which was our 'image' music for some reason...and the voice on the end is Mr. Bill Tullis, who was often the voice of TBS and CNN back then.

WTBS Tush Show open 1981

My open to Bill Tush's comedy program on WTBS, produced by Bonnie and Terry Turner and starring a cast of very talented folks. The postcards and background photos from the open are actually all from my collection (I still have most of them), and were my shout out to friends near and far (the preponderance of Ohio images in an open from Atlanta is one clue.)

SuperStationWTBS movie open 1981

Created when moving type meant zooming studio cameras...no paintbox, no CG, just Letraset, a stat camera and a switcher and one 2D Quantel move with persepctive added by putting the camera card high up in the studio and shooting at it. The footage?shot on two-inch by Ron Buchwald and Bob Ryley while driving an (illegally heavy) GMC Motorhome around Atlanta in 1979.
