Armored Core 2 was probably the weakest iteration in the series (far too slow and had lots of framerate issues) but it had a good plot. The whole DSS nonsense pretty much strips almost all the gameplay away from the player. Here's hoping the next ACE features mecha from Macross Plus. It's actually pretty tricky down to the fact the game doesn't work that well in enclosed spaces (the camera is a bit erratic to say the least). Still, it's an impressive level in terms of structure and Nineball is bit of a tough guy.
